(SHOCKING) Tappu from Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma is No Longer Part of The Cast

 Actor Bhavya Ghandhi, Better known as Tappu who has been part of the comedy show Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma  for almost eight years  has called it quits

“I just wanted to do something new and different, and that’s how the idea of taking a break from the show came to my mind. The major reason for me leaving the show was that I was not getting the kind of growth that a character ideally should get in a (popular) show,” says Bhavya.

After a successful career in small screen, his next target is to step in to big screen and entertain his fans like he did with Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma

“Going forward, I want to take up projects, which are not repetitive of what I have already done. I am just leveling myself now. I do not have any mandate as such in terms of what will I take up or not. My motive is to do good work. When I decided to leave the show, I was offered a Gujarati movie. The shoot is almost over and just a song is left. The film is directed by Dharmesh Mehta, who directed the first 500 episodes of Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma.
I am appearing for auditions as well. I know it’s a little tough, but I am enjoying the journey,” he says, adding, “I don’t mind people remembering me as Tappu, but I hope they accept me in other characters as well that I will play in future.”  he adds.

India's first bullet train that will run under the sea!!

Yes, you read it right. According to the Ministry of Railways, the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor will go under water for a short stretch at Thane, Maharashtra.

Passengers will get the thrill of riding under the sea while travelling between Mumbai and Ahmedabad in the first bullet train of the country.

The 508 km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed rail corridor will have a 21 km long tunnel under the sea, said a senior Railway Ministry official involved with the public transporter's ambitious bullet train project. 
While most part of the corridor is proposed to be on the elevated track, there will be a stretch after Thane creek towards Virar which will go under the sea as per the detailed project report by JICA. 
Estimated to cost about Rs 97,636 crore, 81 per cent of the funding for the project will come by way of a loan from Japan. The project cost includes possible cost escalation, interest during construction and import duties. 

It is a soft loan for 50 years at 0.1 per cent annual interest with 15 years' moratorium, said the official.
Rolling stock and other equipment like signalling and power system will be imported from Japan as per the loan agreement. 
The official said the loan agreement with Japan is slated to be signed by the end of the year and construction work is likely to begin by the end of 2018.  According top priority to the first of its kind project, railways has formed National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), a special purpose vehicle (SPV), with a paid-up capital of Rs 500 crore. 
A search committee comprising senior government officials including Cabinet Secretary, Chairman Railway Board and Secretary DOPT among others is on the job currently to select the Managing Director and five directors for the NHSRCL.  

Railways has already allotted Rs 200 crore for the SPV. Maharashtra and Gujarat will have equity of 25 per cent each, while the Railways will have 50 per cent in the SPV

Indian cricketer and once a hero of team India Mohammad Kaif said that he couldn’t make it to team India again, just because he has no god father in BCCI. 

Former India batsman Mohammad Kaif has been named assistant coach of the Gujarat Lions for the 2017 IPL season. The appointment will be Kaif's maiden coaching stint, and he will be deputy to head coach Brad Hodge.

"Glad to be part of such an exciting group of boys and a wonderful management," Kaif said on Twitter in response to Lions' announcement.

Lions, captained by Suresh Raina, finished top of the league stage in their first IPL season, in 2016, but failed to qualify for the final because they lost both their playoff matches.

Kaif, 36, was appointed captain of Chhattisgarh in their maiden Ranji Trophy season in 2016-17. He also led Chhattisgarh in the recently concluded inter-state T20 tournament, where they won two of the five games in the Central Zone.

Kaif has been associated with three IPL teams as a player - Kings XI Punjab, Rajasthan Royals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kaif, who played 13 Tests and 125 one-day internationals, was an integral part of the Uttar Pradesh side for close to a decade-and-a-half, after making his first-class debut in 1997-98. He played a vital role in UP's maiden Ranji Trophy title victory in 2005-06, when they beat Bengal on the basis of a first-innings lead in Lucknow.


Renowned for being a gritty batsman and an excellent fielder, Kaif has 10,093 runs in 182 first-class matches at an average of 39.12.
