Politician Gone Crazy, Haryana CM Promises 'Reservation'. Jats Call Off Agitation in Delhi
Jat agitation that was threatening to bring Delhi to a standstill has been postponed for now. The protests were called off after jat leaders met with Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar.
"Centre and Haryana will soon begin the process of giving Jats reservation," said Khattar.
"Tomorrow's Jat agitation is suspended and Jats will not come to Delhi to protest," said Yashpal Malik, the leader of All India Jat Aarakshan Samiti (AIJASS).
The AIJASS had earlier announced that the community would intensify its agitation by taking their protest to Delhi on March 20.
Talks between the state government and the Jat leaders hit a roadblock last month as the Haryana government made it clear that it has no jurisdiction to withdraw cases being investigated by the CBI against some Jat leaders over violence during the agitation last year.
Their demands include reservation for Jats, jobs to the next of kin of those killed in violence in the Jat agitation last year, compensation to those injured, withdrawal of cases against them and action against the officers, who ordered action against the Jats, among others.
Its seems like every minority in the face of democracy can use their minority wild card to threaten the government and politician just to save their vote bank would agree to anything they wanted to do

Actor Bhavana and Kannada film producer Naveen get engaged
In a photograph that was leaked on social media, the newly-engaged couple can be seen sharing a light moment with actor Manju Warrier. Actor Samyuktha Verma can also be seen in the picture.The couple has flipflopped between denying and confirming their relationship. In 2014, in an interview to Times of India, she had said she had been in a relationship for two years but was not ready for marriage.
In an interview to New Indian Express in December last year, Bhavana's mother Pushpa had stated that their marriage had been fixed by Bhavana's father when he was alive.
According to reports in Malayalam media, the wedding is to be held in August in Bengaluru.
Bhavana, who has acted in many Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films is currently acting in the Prithviraj-starrer Adam and is set to join the sets of Kannada film Tagaru.
