Things To Remember Before Purchasing Used Electronics

Intro
We buy used cars, furniture, and sometimes clothes but buying used electronics may be the riskiest of all. They do not always have a valid warranty, may be defective, and may not work as long as newer ones. Still, buying used electronics may save you money and help reduce environmental waste. Fortunately, you can come out on top if you ask the right questions and take the following steps.

Step 1: Research the product itself.
There are versions of particular products that may have a known fault with them.
Read online reviews You can ask the owner questions to see if the product has these problems.

Step 2: Become familiar with the lingo.
A refurbished product hasn't necessarily been used; it may have been sent back to the manufacturer for a cosmetic reason, fixed accordingly, and sold as refurbished

Step 3: Ask Questions.
Ask about who fixed or refurbished the product. If the manufacturer did it, then there is less risk involved than if it was done by a third party.

Step 4: Make sure the product comes with a decent warranty.
If you are buying from a retail chain or other reputable sellers, chances are that some sort of warranty is available. Find out how long this lasts and what it covers. Can you buy additional coverage? If so, for how long and how much does it cost? Even if you choose not to buy the extended warranty, the fact that it is offered might suggest the company or manufacturer's confidence in the product. A shorter warranty (about 6-months and under) could show a lack of confidence in the product.

Step 5: Test Product
If possible, test the product before buying it. If you are buying from someone besides a retail chain, this is especially important. While this will not guarantee that it will not break later, it at least makes sure that you have a current working product.

Pakistani Court Charges Baloch Brother With Murder In Honor Killing

The Pakistani court on December 6 charged the brother of a slain social media star and two accomplices with her murder, and moved toward trial in the high-profile "honor killing."

Qandeel Baloch, who was famed for her hot selfies, was strangled in July by her monster brother Muhammad Waseem. He said she had brought shame on the family and confessed to his crime in a press conference after his arrest.

While she was demeaned by detractors, her fans praised her courage for challenging social norms with videos that appeared tame by Western standards.

Waseem appeared before a Multan court on December 5 along with his cousin Haq Nawaz, whom police say is an accomplice. A second indicted accomplice, taxi driver Abdul Basit, is out on bail.

Pakistani officials said the court indicted all three men and set a hearing for December 8.

Some of Baloch's controversial acts included offering to perform a striptease for the Pakistani cricket team, and donning a plunging scarlet dress on Valentine's Day.

Waseem has said he is not remorseful over what he did, calling his sister's behavior "intolerable."

Reliance Jio Welcome Offer to be Valid Until March 2017

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Reliance Jio disrupted the telecom sector in India with the launch of the 4G service in September. Now, the service provider is in the headlines regarding the extension of the Welcome Offer.

Initially, when the service was announced, the Welcome Offer was rolled out with free and unlimited voice calls, 4G data, messages and app access, and the same is valid until December 31, 2016.

While the Reliance Jio Welcome Offer still exists, there are a lot of speculations regarding the Welcome Offer 2. It is believed that the Welcome Offer 2 will begin once the existing offer is over and will be valid for another 90 days. For those who are confused, here we come up with a few details related to the Welcome Offer 2 that we know so far.

Why Welcome Offer 2?
TRAI regulations impose a limit of 90 days for any promotional offer. The company’s Welcome Offer that exists now was announced along with the service on September 5 and it was will end on December 3, 2016 that is after 90 days. After all, its just a promotional offer

100 million users target will remain unachieved
Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio had a target of achieving 100 million subscribers this year. Notably, Welcome Offer comes to an end on December 3 but the free services will be offered until December 31, 2016. As the company won’t be able to achieve its target of 100 million users by the end of this year, there is a possibility for the company to extend the offer in some way until March 2017. This way, it might be able to achieve the target in the first quarter of the next year.

Welcome Offer 2 launch date remains unclear
As mentioned above, the Welcome Offer 2 and the free services that will be offered under the same remain unclear. However, it is believed that it will be launched on the day the original Welcome Offer will come to an end that is December 3. Though this is possible, it contradicts with another speculation stating that the company might announce the extension of the free services on December 28.

Existing Jio users might not get Welcome Offer 2
This speculation about the Welcome Offer 2 might disappoint the existing Jio users. Well, it is claimed that the upcoming offer will be only for the new subscribers who jump onto the Jio bandwagon. So, if you are using a Jio SIM with the Welcome Offer, then you will not get a chance to enjoy the Welcome Offer 2.

Welcome Offer 2 to be valid until March 2017
Going by the original offer that is valid for 90 days, the Welcome Offer is also likely to be valid for 90 days. Eventually, the offer will come to an end on March 2017.

Fat To Fit - Aamir Khan Body Transformation - Dangal

It is for a reason that Aamir Khan has earned the ‘perfectionist’ tag for so many years. The superstar is known for getting into the skin of his characters and him once again justifies the tag with a magical transformation for the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat for his film 'Danger'.

Aamir gained substantial weight and even touched 97 kilos for playing the older part of the character and later lost 30 kilos for playing the younger part.

In the video, the whole transformation of Aamir's weight loss has been brilliantly depicted. Aamir talks about how he was advised to start the shooting with the leaner part and then shoot for the overweight part, but he instead suggested that they start with the overweight part as the incomplete shoot would then serve as a motivation for him to lose weight for the remainder of the shoot.

The gym sessions of Aamir are shown in the video, with the thought of quitting and uncertainty about his task coming into his mind several times. However, the superstar trained himself beautifully to lose all the extra weight in the span of five months. Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul Bhatt is one of the trainers helping Aamir in his goal, with the director Nitesh Tiwari also lauding his actor's dedication.

Dil Kar Deti Tum Ho Crack
Chahti Kya ho ye bata do

Boyfriend ho ya single ho?

q ki jisko main dhoond raha
vo shaqs bhi to tum hi ho

{Chours}Tum Hi Ho x2
Jindegi Tum hi ho

Mera Dard Bhi
Meri Aashqiui
Tum Hi Ho

Tum Hi Ho x2
Jindegi Tum hi ho

Duniya Mein Lakho Taare
Mera Taara Tum Hi Ho

Mana Thoda Mad Hu
Thoda sa main crack Hu
Thoda Sa main sad hu
Thoda Sa main bad hu

Soch Mat Just be mine!

Mujhko Pehchan le (lyrics)- Raghu Anand

Written & Performed : Raghu Anand
Poster Design : Gyaani

Lyrics:
[Verse]Jab se tujh ko dekha hai mujhe jeena aa gaya
Meri berang jindegi mein rango ka sapna chha gaya
waise to main hu shakht, tere samne pighal jata hu
tu jaanti bhi nahi, tujhe kitna main chahta hu
Teri mushkurathe mere dil ka chain churati hai
Tu Na Mujh Ko Jaane par dil ko tu hi bhati hai
Jahaan bhi main dekhu bas tu hi nazar aati hai
ye gaana hai tere liye, q ki apni baat nahi ho paati hai

[Chours]Kaisa Ye pyar hai aa tu bhi isko jaan le
thoda main tujhe jaan lu, thoda tu mujh ko pehchan le x2

[Rap]Bande main hu carefree, nahi leta main tension
baate meri ban jati escalation
kyunki bolta hu baate apne dil ki
bas chahta tujhe kitna ye main bolta nahi
Ek baat tu jaan le, tere dil nahi todunga
jo tu de sath, tera sath nahi chorunga
tujhe dekh kar milta dil ko sukun
tujhe chahta hu bhut ab main kya karu?
jo tu chahegi tere liye main laaunga
Time pass nahi mom dad se milvaunga
baate hai ye sach
kar mujh par vishvas
Jo tu bole chor du peena JD aur Sivas
Old Monk, RC aur BP
Tere liye main chor skta hu ciggrate b

[Chours]Kaisa Ye pyar hai aa tu bhi thoda jaan le
thoda main tujhe jaan lu, thoda tu mujh ko pehchan le x2

[Verse]Tujhe yaad karte hai, har saans ke baad
kabhi subha se pehle kabhi sham ke baad
Jo fir milo to kare dil ki baate apni
ek jaam se pehle, ek jaam ke baad

[Chours]Kaisa Ye pyar hai aa tu bhi isko jaan le
thoda main tujhe jaan lu, thoda tu mujh ko pehchan le x2

Maharashtra: Rs 26 crore Black Money seized ahead of state polls, says EC

Mumbai: Maharashtra State Election Commission on Saturday said Rs 26 crore in cash and over one lakh liters of liquor had been seized ahead of elections to 147 municipal councils and 18 Nagar panchayats across 25 districts in the state on Sunday.

Giving this information, State Election Commissioner JS Saharia said preparations were in place for a smooth polling.
As many as 3,705 members of civic bodies and 147 municipal council presidents will be elected.
The total number of voters is 58,49,171 and there are 7,691 polling stations, he said.
Since the code of conduct came into force, Rs 26 crore in cash and 1.24 lakh liters of liquor were seized, he said.
Saharia said no nominations were received for Shirala Nagar panchayat in Sangli district, while 28 candidates have been elected unopposed as there were no rival nominations.
Home guards would be deployed for security along with the police and the State Reserve Police Force will be used if needed, he said.

A senior minister said that the demonetization will help put an end to politics of some "unscrupulous elements", who seek power through buying of votes using money power.
"The Election Commission will deploy videography surveillance units and flying squads to keep tabs on the movement of cash and liquor to ensure free and fair elections. Although candidates are constrained by limits on their spending, there are no curbs on an expenditure of political parties," said an official.

Xiaomi Mi 5c design leaked online

Xiaomi Mi 5c is expected to be the cheapest phone in the 'Mi 5' series at 999 Yuan (approx Rs 9,900)

Xiaomi Mi 5c has a new image leak which clearly shows the front and the back design of the phone. It is priced at CNY 999 (approx Rs 9,890) according to a poster of the device that was shared by KJuma on his Weibo account. Considering that the phone carries a ‘c’ in its name meaning that it will be (possibly) the cheapest smartphone in the series, which also makes it half the price of the Mi 5 that was launched in India at Rs 24,999.

Like the iPhone 5c from a few years ago, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will be the lowest-end of the Mi 5 offerings. It's said to sport a chipset with an octa-core processor, possibly MediaTek's Helio P20. It will be aided by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in one configuration, though the entry-level one could come with less of both. It should launch with MIUI 8 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and apparently may get announced at a special event next month.

Sony Alpha 99 - Alpha 99 II camera with A-mount interchangeable lens

Sony India has launched alpha 99 II, an ‘A-mount’ interchangeable lens camera in India – the successor to the a99. Key features on the camera include Translucent Mirror Technology (TMT), a Hybrid Phase Detection AF system, up to 12 fps high-speed continuous shooting, 5-axis optical image stabilization and 4k movie recording.

Like Sony's APS-c flagship, α77, the α99 has the ability to record Full HD 1080 video with up to 60p frame rate. In markets outside China, this camera also has built-in GPS that allows recording of position information into the photo. The α99 also uses a three-way tiltable LCD, as used on α77, this feature allows the photographer to view the LCD from any angle. Alongside the lens mount Sony has replaced the traditional autofocus mode selection dial with a "Silent Multi-Controller" which is a customizable dial with silent detents and a central button used for confirmation. The dial's function can be brought up with a press of the central button and then changed using the dial silently during the movie or still recording. The dial's functions can also be changed on the fly by long-pressing the button and then selecting whichever function is desired.
For flexibility, Sony α99 allows users to use Sony's crop APS-C DT lenses and consequently automatically cropping the image to the smaller frame

Due to full pixel readout without pixel binning, 4k movie recording in Super 35 mm format offers more clarity than typical 4k movies, thanks to it collecting 1.8 times as much information as needed for 4k movie output. Sony alpha 99 II has compatibility for Sony A- mount lenses, and reported Battery life for approximate 390 shots (Viewfinder)/ approximate 490 shots (LCD monitor).
Sony Alpha 99 II is available at selected Sony Centres and other electronic and digital imaging stores across the country at Rs 2,49,990.

An updated version, the Sony α99 II, was announced at Photokina in September 2016.

Rahul Gandhi Dares PM Modi to Debate on Demoneitisation

Continuing his tirade against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his "absence" in the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi on Friday asked what was he scared of while daring him to participate in the debate on demonetization to clarify everything.
Speaking to reporters at the Parliament premises, Congress vice-president Gandhi said the Prime Minister had "laughed" at the misery of people post demonetisation (during his visit to Japan earlier this month) and become emotional while speaking on the issue.

"Let's see what emotions appear on his face when he comes to the Lok Sabha," Gandhi said as he dared the Prime Minister to take part in the debate.

"The main issue is that the Prime Minister doesn't come to the Lok Sabha for discussion. The moment he comes to Lok Sabha, doodh ka doodh, paani ka paani ho jayega (everything will be clear).

"The PM doesn't want to sit in Lok Sabha. We have been stopped from speaking in the Lok Sabha. What you are you scared of ?" Gandhi asked.

Taking a dig at the Prime Minister over him addressing the Global Citizen Fest nearly a week ago, Gandhi said the Prime Minister can address "pop concerts" but doesn't attend the discussion on demonetization in House.

Gandhi further stressed the moment discussion takes place in the Lok Sabha in the presence of Modi, it will become clear who the PM had allegedly told about in advance about the November8 move.

Gandhi suggested the BJP leaders were aware of the move.

"He (Modi) is speaking outside, in a pop concert, but not in the Lok Sabha," Gandhi said.

"Modi Ji was laughing (while addressing an event in Japan), then he cried. Come to House, then you will know what emotion his emotion will be in the House," he said.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Anand Sharma reiterated the opposition's demand for Modi's presence in the House during the demonetization debate, saying that accountability has to be fixed for the chaos and the financial anarchy caused due to the move.

"Prime Minister has to come (to the House). He has to explain. Accountability has to be fixed...For the chaos and the financial anarchy. Prime Minister is also answerable and so is the RBI governor," Sharma said.

Stressing that the demonetization move is an "undeclared financial emergency", he said the government needs to explain under which law it has put a curb on the withdrawal of "people's own hard earned money".

"Who authorizes them...Under which provision of the law they have (imposed withdrawal limit)...What is happening in the country is that people have been denied access to their own hard-earned money. No country in the world will allow such a situation to arise which has happened in our country."

Reiterating the Joint Parliamentary Committee's demand on the issue, he described demonetisation as a "big scam" and suggested that there was a big surge in bank deposits in September as the information about the move was "selectively leaked.
